Spiral woundAlternating metal winding and soft filler, with inner and outer rings. The default for raised face flanges in process service.
Ring type jointSolid metal oval or octagonal rings for RTJ grooved flanges, Class 600 and above.
KammprofileSerrated metal core faced with graphite or PTFE, for cyclic and high temperature duty.
Compressed fibre sheetNon-asbestos sheet cut to the flange, for utility and low pressure lines.
PTFE and envelopeChemical resistance where the medium attacks graphite or elastomer.
Metal jacketedSoft filler inside a metal jacket for heat exchangers and boiler service.
